Pamela Bolling is a name that has become synonymous with professionalism and nonstop energy. Starting out as 1 of the first Star Search contestants in dance, her career continued to carry her on to many more exciting things.
For the past 15 years Pamela has been based in Orlando, Florida. She began in Orlando as a dancer/singer/actress working for The Walt Disney World Company. Her first show in Orlando was The Diamond Horseshoe review, where she was put to the test as a triple threat. Later on Pamela went on to do other shows such as: World Dancers, Epcot Center, Explosion Dancer, PleasureIsland and much more. Success did not stop there, however, her resume reads with such stars as: New Kids On The Block, MC Hammer, Lee Greenwood, Donny and Marie, Back Street Boys and most recent Weird Al Yankovich!
Later, Roger Minami and Bill Thomas (two producers currently working directly with the legendary man himself, Merv Griffin) discovered her. She went on to choreograph in the Bahamas, Paradise Island and Atlantic City. Her shows then went on to take first billing at Merv Griffin’s Resorts & The Atlantic City Hilton. Being mentored by Roger Minami himself, Pamela began taking on roles not only as a choreographer but also as a director.
When Mr. Minami retired, Pamela joined with two other talented partners and took over his production company, Rabco Enterprises. Now that company is called “Hardrive Productions.”
Currently she and her partner have created world-class entertainment around the globe. Pamela is the resident in-house choreographer and director. Their creative costuming staff includes over 20 seamstresses, dance studio (equity approved) and over two million dollars worth of costumes and sets.
Pamela’s achievements and goals never stop. With her production company, Hardrive Productions, she created The 2nd Story Guys, an astonishing group of stilt performers who have performed at places such as the Super Bowl, The Judd’s Reunion Tour, and The Donny & Marie Show. Their travels also include Mardi Gras in New Orleans, and Bergen, Norway. Hardrive is known as one of the top show producers in Orlando and was recently recognized for “Best Show” at Busch Gardens.
Today Pamela is choreographing for 3 Celebrity Cruise Line ships: the Mercury,Century, and Galaxy as of the last year. She recently opened new shows for them called "A Touch of Broadway," and "Elements". The shows have received the highest ratings in the history of these 3 ships, which led to an exclusive interview with Pamela for Dance Spirit Magazine.
She is also very busy working with choreographing industrials such as Give Kids The World and Walt Disney World's "Happily Ever After." In addition to that she enjoys working with ballet companies and community theatre.
She is currently choreographing and directing the Miss Teen America pageant which will be held for the first time.
She has recently choreographed the revival of the Broadway Musical, "Grease", starring Joey Fatone, Alphonso Ribeiro, and Jeff Conway, who appeared in the original Broadway production. Her reviews cited her choreography as "spunky"…..creating energizing moments that reminded the audience why they left home in the first place."
Pamela’s heart also lies in traveling around the country on her dance convention tours. She enjoys working to make a difference in teachers and students in any part of the world, working to educate but more importantly build confidence and motivate. As a mother herself, she holds great value in loving kids of all nature and talent. She is currently working for many world renown dance conventions such as DEA and DMA, and has been spotted with LA Underground and Dance Power Express. It is not unusual for Pamela to host Disney Auditions and hold her very own, when she discovers a young and promising artist. She has aided many people down the path of Entertainment. Her variety of style and positive energy keeps her in high demand, year after year.
Pamela and her mother, Karen Hebert, have created a video / DVD series named “The Peak Performance Video / DVD Series.” With these videos, students and teachers learn about choreography, staging, technique and motivation. Pamela and Karen also hold the Hebert/Bolling Workshop in Orlando every summer. Together with Greg Brown, Pam has designed a unique dance clothing line: B-Wear. There are no limits to her creativity and energy!
