Woman, Barnum, Anything Goes, and Chicago. Of her many roles, she
is most proud of her portrayal of Roxie Hart in Chicago for which

Ballet and Musical Theater are very dear to her heart, however, Karen's
first love is teaching and the creative process. In addition to touring
for several national dance conventions, she was instrumental in developing
the Musical Theater Department at NOCCA the high school for the performing
arts in Louisiana, where she was hired as a full time lead teacher.
She was the innovators of Lyrical Ballet. Karen's daughter Pamela
Bolling, along with her dance partner, Joey McKneeley, were the first
to receive a high score award and scholarships with a lyrical routine,
even before the category was named. It was her ballet and modern
and jazz background along with her desire to create a new form of
expression through movement that brought about this popular dance
discipline.
She currently resides in Orlando, Florida where she is working with
her daughter for Celebrity Cruise Lines, choreographing and directing.
She scouts talent for Disney a position that took her to Russia and
the Ukraine this year and is anticipating her next role as Mona Kent
in Dames At Sea .
